This one’s been a team effort and a year in the making. Tornados‘ latest video features Alex Kililis, Antoni Zeyer, Christoph Radtke, Chuan Schmitt, Deniel Cramer, Domi Maul, Domi Wenzel, Flo Marfaing, Jan Rehring, Josh Junkes, Konni Brock, Leo Döberlein, Leo Rehring, Locopapi, Max Hünnekens, Patricc Wolf, Santino Exenberger, Thomas Weber, Tim Otto and Victor Bass. Filmed by Ansgar Wagemann, with some additional angles by Peter Mader, Nils Zoican, Julian Besch and many more. Directed by Thomas Gentsch & Dennis Ludwig.
It’s pretty well known that projects tend to go beyond what’s been planned originally… When we decided to take on a few new and, above all, younger team riders at the beginning of 2024, it became clear that we needed a full welcome part for Jan Rehring, a 15 year old Münster local. So I took him along on many a filming mission in and around the Ruhr area, and got to see what the little guy could get done on his skateboard.

What started out rather cautiously in the shadow of Tim Otto, Deniel Cramer and the rest of the gang, turned into the exact opposite in the course of the second half of the year. All of a sudden, Jan seemed to be the driving force behind every mission and continued to get gnarlier and gnarlier, from week to week. As the deadline for the video was getting closer, he got me to drive from Münster to Bremen, so that we could get something on a rail which you can only skate at nighttime. Within 15 minutes, Jan did 3 tricks and off we were on our way back to Münster again. Kid established some heavy work ethics!

But I mean, all in all, we never do anything half-assed over here… Tim Otto also got a full part done and we managed to pack all the other 28 team riders into the video as well: from OGs like Flo and Loco to young guns like Chuan Schmitt, Leonel Döberlein and Konni Brock. ALLEY encapsulates a year of filming in the Midwest of Germany – luckily without any real tornados.
