I’ve heard so many good things about the TeamTrouble in Laax over the past few years; whether it was about the beautiful scenery in the valley, surrounded by snow-covered mountains, a kind of family-vibe all over the place or just the reckless carnage that’s taking place in the transitions of Freestyle Academy. So this year, I spontaneously decided to head to the Alps for the event. I didn’t quite know what to expect, neither did I know all that many people who would go, but all that changed pretty quickly. I finally got an understanding now, why the TeamTrouble can get stuck in one’s head forever and why revisiting becomes mandatory after you’ve been there once. 2025 was my first time in Laax, but it definitely won’t be the last one. The perfect location, a brand new indoor bowl and vert ramp, some old friends and many new friends, just an overall wonderful weekend… well, and the same old hangovers. In between shooting portraits, having a great time and filming a hell lot of great skating, I was able to take some photos, too. You’ll find them down below for your viewing pleasure!
