SKATEBOARDING’S FINEST BIERGARTEN

Matt Berger backlipped a sausage. A snowboarder from Iceland, that is Hrund Hanna Thor, became everyone’s favourite trail runner. Anton Wessely backside 360’ed off a maypole, and Simon Gärtner skated a late night demo at Gärtnerplatz. Never would we have thought to write these words (and there would be so many more to write), but thanks to Monster Energy and the world’s most dangerous skateshop (that most obviously happens to be its most Bavarian, too), we just got to do so…

2026 saw the first ever SHRNFEST go down at Clubhaus Eching, and if them shuttle buses keep coming, it may very well be that in a couple of years, people will only have a vague memory of that other festival that Munich’s somewhat known for – because who needs that one when there’s skateboarding’s finest biergarten? Stay tuned for a full video recap coming soon via our friends over at Bubble ;)
