We’ve met Antonio in fall 2019 on our tour to Athens where we’re about to pass Zagreb and didn‘t have a tourguide for the city yet. Quick check on insta and we knew, Antonio was our guy! On the next day, we’ve met him at a big, marble roundabout spot, which he destroyed in minutes by skating it so easily and light-footed. After we were heading down south to Split, we invited him to join us since we still had a free seat and we all felt pretty comfortable with him being around. Unfortunately, he got injured on the first day which led him to leave us earlier as planned. Luckily, a couple of months later, he came by to our anniversary party in Munich and was shredding the indoor park so hard. Ever since and even before that, we became huge fans of Antonio, his skating and his personality. He’s definitly the skater you want to have around your session. Therefore, we’re glad to present his new part „Night Shift“ and this short interview.

First of all, SICK part, we’re stoked! Are all of these spots in zagreb or did you visit a different city as well?
These spots are all in Zagreb, except for two, which are in one city one hour away.

The full part is filmed at night, was this on purpose?
That it was intentionally and on purpose. The filmer wanted it to be filmed at night.

It’s also filmed 4:3 in HD. Is it that you like the old VX style but rather keep it crispy with HD?
I prefer VX more because I like going fast through the streets and I like recordings of my skating in that format. But in this project it‘s HD because I wanted to go out with this filmer and he preferred HD.

How would you describe your local scene in zagreb? Is there a spot or a plaza you meet on a daily basis? We recently saw a lot of footage on a museum…
The scene is very bad, there are no skate shops at the moment, no skate parks, it seems that Zagreb wants to get rid of alternative scenes more and more. We mostly skate and have fun at the Mimara Museum, so I would say that this is the biggest local skate spot in Zagreb.

In fall 2019 you were guiding us through your hometown zagreb but you’re going to change your residence to vienna soon. When are we invited to visit?
Haha, you can come whenever you want when I‘m there.

Is there any reason to leave zagreb or do you just feel to freshen up the curtains?
I’m just looking for shooting more skating and better opportunities in general.

Any plans in vienna besides skating?
I would like to do something with T-Shirt, as far as some of my art is concerned, but I will see what I can do.

We‘re definitely looking forward to more footy! Do you have anything else planned for this year? Maybe any more projects to finish?
I have some more videos to work on but I will still see what will happen to them

You have mad good pop! Is there any secret behind it like eating 5 bananas or jumping ropes everyday?
Haha I just have scoliosis, so it seems like my pop is high.

For anyone who wants to travel to go skate in croatia this year, whats the most important thing in communication, except of „Jedno Pivo Molim“?
Here is probably no better communication, so that is the only thing that Croats understand best!
