Andrei, also called Dusty, is 18 years old – well, in Barcelona he’s apparently 19. His nickname comes from his talent of slamming in the most unnatural ways. For example, he broke his nose recently – yes, for the second time already. He slammed skating a rail with as many stairs as his Catalonian age counts. That’s how his nickname was expanded to “Dusty Dollin”. Even though he pays credit to his nickname in other ways from time to time, Andrei is usually the first person to be awake, ready for take-off. When the rest of the crew gets out of bed, Dusty’s polo-shirts have already been ironed and neatly arranged.

Dusty is an athlete: Cycling, jogging before skating, pushing six kilometres to the session, or even doing half marathons on his board from Mamer back to Luxembourg City if waiting for the bus is too time consuming. That might be the reason why he’s able to jump back on his board after the most brutal slams. He might not make it to the next Olympic Games as he prefers a barbecue at the skatepark over a training session, but there are rumours that Dusty’s video part is going to be released soon. When there’s a mission, however, the barbecue is left at home and he lipslides every single rail at the skatepark, cuts hedges and prepares wooden boards for spots with no run up. Moreover, he´s one of the first homies to pick up the camera just to film the old guys for hours at curb spots or ride-on ledges. Merci villmols!

As a Luxembourger with Romanian roots, Dusty grew up multilingual. He´s able to speak five different languages fluently. On the one hand, that makes his playlist quite diverse – it starts with French Trap music and ends with Mallorca’s latest Schlager hits. On the other hand, it’s the perfect precondition to move to a European metropolis to study product design, bomb downhills and conquer new rails – after finishing school, of course.
